My story
If there was a Golden Girls reboot, Izzy would get cast for sure! This senior gal pal just loves to hang out and be part of the group. She's smart, funny, loves treats and is willing to sit for them. She also knows 'down' and sometimes 'shake', but she likes to play hard to get about showing off her skills all at once. She likes getting out on the trail and showing off her little swagger. If she gets dusty, she loves the VIP spa treatment and looks amazing in any dog fashion - turtleneck sweaters are her favorite! Izzy came to APA in 2010 and then was surrendered in 2017 due to family moving and not being able to take her with them. Izzy seems to be house-trained and does okay left home alone. She gets along with her doggie friends at the shelter and could possibly go home with another well-matched doggie sibling. Her favorite activities are sleeping, going for car rides and walks, and she does well on leash. She's really easy to handle in the shelter, she loves her people, and she'd really love a home with a yard. Come meet Izzy and let her retire in style! I know she would thank you for being a friend.
