Thank you for taking care of me.' Maggie is a sweet senior with a wonderful temperament who's looking for a soft space to land and enjoy her golden years. Her foster mom says she's just the easiest dog to have around and a total sweetheart. Maggie follows her people around like an adorable shadow and puts her paw on your lap when she wants to be petted. She loves chest rubs, and if you stop before she's finished, she'll offer you her paw to ask for more. She does wonderfully with the 3 year-old child in her foster home and lets him pet her and feed her and follows him out back when he goes out to play. She's equally sweet with the resident dog - they share their beds and eat from each other's food bowls. On top of getting along great with everyone, Maggie has excellent manners and is fully house-trained. She rattles the back door blinds when she needs to go out and does well left home alone uncrated. She has a low energy level and is happy just to get out and sniff around the yard and sunbathe, but she will also run along the fence to play with the neighbors' dogs. Beautiful inside and out, Maggie would make a wonderful addition to any number of loving homes with people who will give her plenty of attention and one without too many stairs to go up and down.
