Wilby's story
Wilby is a fluffy, smart, loving fella! This smart cookie is house-trained and knows several commands along with hand signals. He loves training, mostly because he loves treats! He will happily learn just about anything if it involves treats. He does well around cats and is friendly and even a bit indifferent towards other dogs. As long as they don't try and take any of his hard earned snacks, he enjoys their company! Wilby also is a snuggle bug when he's around kids and loves when they want to play with him. He doesn't have a lot of experience on his leash just yet, but with how quickly he learns, we know he can master it with a little training. He loves to romp around the yard, and is thrilled to chase a tennis ball around. He's a whiz at following his people's energy and will happily keep up on hikes or swims. He just asks that you get a fantastic nap together as soon as you get home! Wilby is wonderful with his humans and does a magnificent job of reading their moods and temperament. He seems to be fully aware when you're sad and will sit on your feet making sure his warm fluffy body is against your legs to comfort you. He is just exploding with love and is the most adorable shadow around the house. He wants to be a part of everything his people are doing and his current foster even says he enjoys hanging nearby while she does her morning makeup. Wilby's ideal home would have plenty of yard space for him to run around in. He'd do very well with other animals or kids in the house and would love to just play all day! He's such a smart guy, and would love to have a family that will challenge him and continue to keep his brain learning new things. Mostly, Wilby just wants a forever home where he can spend all his days loving on you! Come meet him!
