This is 'Rumor's Pretty Trixie Girl, "Trixie" '. She is a 2 year old Registered True Chocolate Dappled Rocky Mountain Filly with WHITE main and tail. Her dapples really come out in the summer. She is a headturner! This is a beautiful horse!
Rocky Mountains are known for their kind and gentle spirit and willingness to please and Trixie holds those high standards in everything she does. She is about 14.2hh now but will probably mature to 15.5hh or more. I've attached pictures of her Sire (2nd pic) and her Dam (3rd pic) who are both fine show horses on a ranch in Kentucky. I have all the papers and background on her parents. I have Trixie's bloodline information. I tried to load it on here but it wouldn't load. She has an OUTSTANDING bloodline and comes from a long line of Champion Rocky Mountain Horses. Her bloodlines are very impressive.
She is in training now for western pleasure but could go anyway you like at this point. She has alot of ground work training and is very eager to please. She picks up on things very quickly! She is healthy, strong, athletic, and a great all around horse who is eager to please and responds to a gentle word. She has been under saddle several times and never offered to buck, bite or kick. The first time she was saddled she turned to look at the saddle on her back, sniffed it and turned around and stood quietly. She is easily trained to do anything you want. I have never seen such an easy horse to train. You show her once and she picks it up. It's truly a pleasure training her!
Trixie is current on all vaccinations, has a negative coggins, is on a worming shedule and has good hard feet with regular trimmings. I have all her Vet records in hand for the new owner. She is very good with the farrier and will stand for feet trimmings for quite a while with no fuss. She LOVES a bath and LOVES water. We have a large pond on our land and she will go out and roll in the water (when the pond has water) since the drought the pond doesn't have much water. She trailers just fine both in and out. She sees the trailer being hooked up to the truck and she is ready to get in! No kidding she will go up and try to get into the trailer if the door is open. She has been trailered several times with no bad experiences. She will come right to you if out to pasture. She is stalled at night and let out during the day on 6 acres with 9 other horses. She is great with all the other horses, not bossy and not an alpha mare. She will stand her ground though if she is pushed by the other horses. I would say she is right in the middle. She is really an easy keeper.
This horse can be taught anything you want to teach her. She is not spooky at all. She has been around dogs, cattle, kids, tractors, loud trucks, and gun fire. Nothing phases her. She was desensitized with the tarp method.
We are selling Trixie due to health problems. It's been a very hard decision to make. But we want the very best for Trixie. This is such a fine animal we want her to reach her full potential with someone who can take her there. She is not a horse that can be just put out to pasture with no human socialization. She is used to daily interaction with us and wouldn't do well otherwise. So if you do not have some time DAILY to interact with her please don't call.
The selling price for Trixie is $5000. This is negotiable as a GOOD home is the FIRST priority. We have her registration papers and Vet records in hand for the new owner. We will want to see where she will be living and are asking for Vet references. We just want to be sure she is going to the best home possible. She has been well cared for here with us and we want the same for her in her new home.
So we are willing to bring her to you. At our cost not yours. She is very important to us and means alot to us and we want the best for her.
