1980 Ducati Supersport SS for sale in Austin, Texas

$14,000

bought this bike in 2002 from a collector in CA who was storing it, and as I keep in mind, was the second owner. It was last registered in 1995, and had 2929 miles on it. I began going thru it in 2007 with the objective of setting it up as a pleasurable, comfy, reputable, good handling, excellent and near initial looking rider. I likewise had an objective of not making any modifications to it that could not easily be undone, so it could be gone back to its initial condition if wanted, and to save all gotten rid of parts (which are imagined and are consisted of). Aside from the typical replacement of the malfunctioning wires coming from the ignition pick ups in the timing side engine cover, I did make two alterations that might or could not satisfy that second goal. Was to add 1" extensions in each center stand leg (no welding involved) so the rear tire would clear the ground after including longer shocks. Second, I made an extension for the journey mileage reset mechanism on the speedometer, so I might keep an eye on miles in between gas stops. This involved trimming the r/h edge of the dash panel, so the reset shaft would be easily available. The following is a breakdown of exactly what else I did and the part changes.
