Ezra's story
A good samaritan found Ezra on the side of the road in pretty bad shape, but ol' Ezra doesn't hold it against anybody. This sweet senior wants nothing more than to be around people, or just about anyone really. He does wonderfully with his doggie foster sister and he's great with the kids in the home. This gentle giant loves getting their attention and isn't ever startled when they get loud and rambunctious. He's even cool with one of the resident kitties rubbing up against him. The other kitty isn't too friendly but that doesn't faze Ezra one bit. This grateful guy is just happy to be included in whatever's going on. Ezra's one of those dogs that likes to hug and will come put his chin on your lap to get some loving, and when you start petting him, he slides down onto the floor in pure bliss. Ezra loves attention, but he isn't pushy about it and is happy to just lie around near his people, keeping watch with his sweet, expressive eyes. He'll follow his foster mom around like a shadow and plop down wherever she is. Ezra is still on the mend, and while he isn't the most active pup, he does enjoy short walks and playing fetch, even if he just walks to retrieve the toy. And he has a stuffed toy that he carries around like it's his baby. Ezra is completely house-trained, great in his crate, and his foster mom has never heard him whine or bark. Ezra is very mild-mannered in the house, but despite his senior status, he will do a little counter-surfing if there's something tasty left up there. Sweet, chill and lovable, Ezra would make a wonderful companion to the entire family. Come meet this perfect pup!
