REDUCED PRICE!! Full sized (Dreadnaught size) Sigma Model DM-2 Guitar, by C.F. Martin. These are the "overseas budget Martins", which are very well made guitars, but lack the expensive solid woods and USA construction of the "real" Martins. Sigma guitars went out of production in 2007, and there are folks already collecting them. The headstock logo was created in the Martin theme.
This guitar has a straight neck that is properly aligned (no high string clearance here!). No buzzing frets. Neck width 1 5/8" at nut. Top is flat (no bellying), bridge is not lifting. (I just put new DiAddario strings on it before I took the picture, and they came out looking "Striped")
This is a very nice, easy playing, great sounding guitar with comfortable, smooth string action all the way up the neck, which joins the body at the 14th fret. Spruce top. The finish on the Mahogany sides and back has exceptional depth, which really shows off the beautiful grain of the wood. There is a scuff mark on the back , which may just rub-out. Always happy to send more pictures, etc. Why risk your expensive guitar when camping at Old Settler's or Kerrville festivals? This one plays well, sounds good, and fits right in with that scene.
